Ensemble talks about closure
Ensemble Studios director of technology Dave Pottinger sat down with Shacknews and said that he feels Microsoft's decision to close down the studio makes little sense:
I would like to cry out to see if there's still someone who cares about just making enough money to earn a decent income and at the same time release great products. But I guess it would be a cry in the dark as even the current financial crysis that's affecting us all won't change much in how "businesses" are run these days.

Ensemble's Age of Empires franchise made about 700 million dollars profit but I guess in these days' economics that isn't good enough anymore.
