Codemasters has some very nice games for us. RF Online is certainly one of these. This MMORPG has a different setting than the eternal D&D or Warcraft scenes. It combines fantasy with science-fiction elements, poured with a beautiful Japanese atmosphere and design.

If you are curious about the magnificent looking game, you have to take a look at the beta that is now accessible for everybody. At least if you are willing to register at one of the commercial sites that require that. Although we are fundamentelly against that, I didn't want to keep this news from you.

RF Online will take place on an alien planet inhabited by three different playable races. These are the Accretia Empire, a race of robotic characters that command highly advanced technology; the Bellato Union, a race of human-like tinkers that specialize in powerful gadgets; and the Cora Holy Alliance, a race of elflike beings that prefer magic to machine guns.
