Rein shoots down rumours

Epic's Mark Rein has shot down the rumours that the "licensing deal" with Midway is about to be terminated. In fact, they have a publishing deal which is not the same as a license and Epic is working on a "major expansion" for Unreal Tournament III to proove it.

"Our arrangement with Midway isn't a license but rather a straight publishing agreement and Midway is still very much the publisher of Unreal Tournament 3," he said. "In fact, we're working together on a major expansion that we expect will excite and grow our UT3 customer base."

Guess we'll see soon enough what that major expansion is all about

lol ur a dumbass, i bought the unreal deal through steam and have played all 5 games that came in it and can honestly say ut3 is infinitely better than the other 4

Your obviously a younger gamer who didn't play the games when they were released. I'm a die hard UT fan and I played the crap out of UT99 and UT2k4 but UT3 is by far the worst unreal tournament game yet. When a game is selling for $10 before its a year old, you know its a crappy game. Epic turned a well respected franchise into a tech demo and completely ignored the fundamentals which made other UT games amazing.

On a side note unreal 2 was a piece of shit.
