Europe gets 80GB PS3 as well

Well it seems Sony isn't forgetting about Europe after all.
Sony Europe boss David Reeves is supposed to be officially announcing tonight at SCEE's European press event in Los Angeles that the 80GB model of the Playstation3 will be coming to Europe and should arrive in stores somewhere near September, the same period when it becomes the de facto standard model in North America.
It's expected that the new version will be available for the same retail price as the current 40GB PS3 just like in the US.
