Yesterday morning the European offices of Intel and manufacturers working for Intel were raided by the European Commission. This was the result of a lawsuit coming from AMD, their rival, who claims that Intel intentionally established itself as a monopoly.

No further information was given, due to the fact that it is part of a still ongoing investigation.
