REYKJAVIK, ICELAND, March 5, 2003 - Crowd Control Productions (CCP), developer of the highly anticipated massive multiplayer online game (MMOG) “Eve Online: The Second Genesis” announced today this PC game will ship May 6, 2003 in North America and Europe. EVE ONLINE will allow more than 100,000 gamers to play in a single universe that will not be broken into “shards.” No other MMOG has attained this many simultaneous users. EVE ONLINE is being published simultaneously in North America by Viacom unit Simon & Schuster Interactive, and in Europe by Crucial Entertainment (Rated: “T” by the ESRB).
