Another way to make a big impression with graphics aside from screenshots and movies are the so-called "360° screenshots" where you can turn all around to get a better look of the environment and other interesting stuff.

Sony Online Entertainment uses this style to show some of the character models in their upcoming mmorpg Everquest II. Three of these special screenshots were released on the official site of the game. You'll need at least QuickTime 5 in order to watch them though.

And from the look at these screens (and the other, normal ones beneath them) SOE did a very fine job already for the models (definitely for a massive online game). Let's hope they don't forget the gamers with older machines.
