Ex-Bohemia and 2K Czech employees form Warhorse
Some employees of Bohemia Interactive (Operation Flashpoint) and 2K Czech (Mafia series) have started up a new studio called Warhorse.
Prague-based Warhorse is currently working on an unannounced RPG where usual gameplay elements from their previous games will form the red line.
Quite some big names, hopefully they can cook up something great together!

“There is a common thread running through our previous games: open worlds, strong storyline and, last but not least, realistic design.
“We can proudly say that the games Mafia and Operation Flashpoint were the vanguard of this approach and millions of players worldwide clearly share our view. Even if our new project is different in many respects, it is a game that is not going to disappoint fans of open realistic worlds and quality stories.”
The studio was formed by former Mafia director and lead designer Daniel Vávra. Together with him also Dragon's Lair author Martin Klima, Operation Flashpoint and ARMA designer Viktor Bocan, and Zbynek Trávnivky, responsible for the animations in the Mafia series, jumped on board.“We can proudly say that the games Mafia and Operation Flashpoint were the vanguard of this approach and millions of players worldwide clearly share our view.
