Expansion Oblivion gets 250 achievement points

The first real expansion of Oblivion, Shivering Isles, will be downloadable via Xbox Live too and the creators have already told that the game will be the first to give extra achievement points for expansion packs. The total of extra points you'll be able to score will be 250 points.

The expansion, offering 30 hours of gameplay and an area spanning a quarter of the original game, will get a visual upgrade which will make it identical to the PS3 version according to Bethesda.

The Oblivion add-on for 360 will also feature new shader technology that should bring the game up to the graphical standard of the PS3 copy, adding to recent comments from Bethesda spokesperson Pete Hines that the two versions will look virtually identical.

Starting from spring the area of Prince Sheogorath will be accesible from a portal.
