FIFA Online coming to Europe
Posted on Sunday, 31 January 2010 by Speed, source: FIFA Online
After having had a huge success with Fifa Online in Korea, Electronic Arts has decided to release a free-to-play microtransaction-funded version to the West as well.
People can now register at the official site for entering a closed beta which will have around 20.000 players and will continue until June. Then Electronic Arts wants to open the testing up to "hundreds of thousands of gamers" for the next 12 to 24 months.
The game will have 30 licensed leagues, 500 clubs, various modes (including the South Africa World Cup) and the possibility to create your own team with training and transfers. In-game money can be earned or bought (with real money through microtransactions) and be used for in-game items and apparel.
