Fallout 3 gone gold!
Bethesda Softworks yesterday proudly announced that their newest installment in the Fallout franchise, Fallout 3, had gone gold. Together with this announcement the developer shed some light on the system requirements for the game. Those that have anxiously waited for this moment can breathe a sigh of relief... or maybe despair.
The post-apocalyptic RPG should already run on a system such as the following:
Recommended specs are obviously higher:
Many users will find their graphics card in the list. To what extent, and at which level of detail, these cards will run the game smoothly has of course not been mentioned. To see for yourself how your computer can handle the long awaited title, you will have to sit tight a little longer. Just about until the 31st of October, when the game is slated for release.
The post-apocalyptic RPG should already run on a system such as the following:
- Windows XP/Vista
- 1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
- 2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
- Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)
Recommended specs are obviously higher:
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor
- 2 GB System RAM
- Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA 8800 series, ATI 3800 series)
