Far Cry 2 for PC not anytime soon

In a recent interview with ComputerAndVideoGames, Ubisoft said they aren't working on a Far Cry 2 for PC yet. But the French developer and publisher promises that one day they will:

How do you see the franchise evolving over the coming months and years?
Bertrand Helias: We're just at the beginning of the franchise. I think we already know that we have two different opinions between the PC and console players. We will continue to provide console gamers with something very strong. We're not sure Instincts would work on PC - we have to be careful about these different markets, but we will continue to expand the franchise.
Can we expect a new Far Cry game on the PC platform in the future then?
Bertrand Helias: Of course, we won't move away from the PC. We still have to be sure about what kind of Far Cry concept is good for the PC. We're not working on a PC game right now, but one day we will.
