Lucky owners of a PS3, Xbox 360 or a PC powerful enough to handle it, can look forward to the 24th of October. On that day Ubi Soft Entertainment's eagerly awaited succesor to Far Cry will hit the shelves in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Fans of the game can also buy a Far Cry 2 Collectors' Edition. This special edition will ship in an exclusive wooden box, also containing the original Far Cry game, a Far Cry 2 T-shirt, an art-book, a making-of DVD, and to top it all off a collectors map.

If you want to be sure you'll be one of the first to receive the game, you can already pre-order it online at your favorite retailer.
