The 'man' in green is back
Reggie Fils-Aime, head honcho at Nintendo Amerika, has said in an interview that the Nintendo Wii will keep ahead of its motion control competitors thanks to the first party content. With this he's aiming mostly towards the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
“I think the best example of how we continue to be distinctive and innovative is going to be Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword,”

“Because now you have a motion based game that’s a traditional, core type of product.”
Remaining in the lead is done by strongly defending their platform, but also thanks to the good content Nintendo has to offer, according to Fils-Aime.
“That’s how we’re going to continue to drive Wii, moving into the future, regardless of what our competitors do. Not just our direct competitors, but all of our competitors. We have to have great content, and that’ll drive the business.”
Nintendo's own games are for us the only reason the console still sells. Other publishers are releasing little to nothing interesting on it anymore these days.
