Final Fantasy XII best game of 2006

PlayStation 2 fans, don't despair! The coming of the PS3 doesn't necessarily mean the end of great games for PS2. On the contrary, according to EDGE magazine, the best is yet to come. They've chosen Final Fantasy XII (which has yet to appear here in Europe) as their best game of 2006, and added the following:

'Beautiful, engrossing and impeccably polished. A work of progressive genius'

So even after 20 years, the series is still as good as ever. FFXII is yet another reason to refrain from throwing out your PS2. In early 2007 we should finally get our hands on this (way too) long awaited game.
