Final Fantasy XII producer resigns

Due to health conditions, Yasumi Matsuno has resigned from his job as producer for Final Fantasy XII. Akitoshi Kawazu has been appointed to replace Mr. Matsuno, though Matsumo remains active as a supervisor.

Furhermore Matsuno apologizes for the long wait and promises the newest title in the Final Fantasy series will hit Japanese shelves on March 16 2006.

The exact date of the American and European release is still unavailable.
