It didn't take long this time. Someone got homebrew software up and running on the Nintendo DS. Screenshots and downloads are available at this site.

I don't think this will harm the DS its sales though. Worse is the fact that a NDS Card Reader and software for it have already been developed. Screenshots of Metroid Prime maps on the PC can be found here. Not that you have a touchscreen on the computer...
