Former exec sues Take2
Posted on Thursday, 16 October 2008 by Speed, source: Gamepolitics
It seems that Take2 can never have too many lawsuits hanging around and even a former executive is now joining the court soap opera. And he funniest thing is that it's not even about the company's current management!
Robert Alexander, a former member of the board of directors at T2, has filed suit against the company for no less than $50 million.
Apparently, Alexander was in negotiations with Take2 founder Ryan Brant about a distribution deal but when Brant got kicked out and Paul Eibeler became CEO, Alexander was kindly asked to leave as well. Although no deal was finalized, Alexander's new company, Game Ballers, already had a working agreement with Briant but never got paid:

Although no deal was finalized, Alexander's new company, Game Ballers, already had a working agreement with Briant but never got paid:
The distributor claims that Brant agreed to pay him $240,000 in annual salary with 20% annual raises, a $25,000 monthly expense allowance, 50,000 shares of T2 stock plus options and $.50 per game handled by his distribution company.
Personally I find it strange that someone would file suit years after everything happened and things have changed so much. Maybe Robert Alexander lost a bit more money than expected with the current financial crisis and is hoping to recuperate some from Take2?In other news:
