Founders RARE leave Microsoft

Chris and Tim Stamper, both founders of the development studio RARE, have left the company. Four years ago, Microsoft bought the company that had already developed a few very successful games, for about 375 million dollars.

"Chris and Tim have helped shape Rare into the world-renowned development studio that is it today and their impact on the videogame industry as a whole is well known. They are simply leaving to pursue other opportunities and we wish them luck in their future endeavors."

According to Microsoft, their leaving has nothing to do with the disappointing sales of the new Viva Piñata, but still it both happens at the same time. Coincidence or not?

I would of thought MS would of got ridden of Rare after the shocking PDZ.

I suppose they did kinda make up for it with Kameo though.
