Four million copies of Resident Evil 5

Capcom has announced that the fifth part in the Resident Evil Series has been shipped to retailers four million times. The publisher/developer estimates that the sales figures aren't much lower at this time.

Next to this, it seems that the game's demo has also been a success. When considering both the downloads at the PS Store and the Xbox Marketplace the demo has been downloaded a little bit more than four million times.

Resident Evil 5 beats Capcom's expectations and it's also the best launch ever since the beginning of the series.
