Four years of development for Diablo III?
Posted on Tuesday, 7 February 2006 by Devilke, source: Gaming Steve
The development of Diablo III started four years ago. At least, that and a few other juicy rumours about the game, is what we learn from an article on the website Gaming Steve.
According to this article, Blizzard started developing the third part of the very popular hack & slash franchise about four years ago. If everything went as planned, the game would have been in stores for ages, but the top of Blizzard thought the game was pretty "boring". That's why they keep working on it.
This is the reason why Blizzard North closed down in 2005 (and perhaps the reason why the biggest part of the Blizzard North department said goodbye). At this moment, the headquarters of Blizzard would still be working on Diablo III.
