500 euro's isn't a lot and with the Christmas shopping period at hand, giving someone a "cheap" new PC is definitely an option so we bring to you once again our budget gaming pc.

Case:
- ASUS TA-210 Midi Tower 360W Black
Price: €54
This case from Asus is cheaper than Antec's 2650, has a 360Watt power supply, has a nice black finish and looks pretty stylish. Considering its price it's a decent case for a budget system

Power Supply:
- Included in case
Price: €0
We're going for budget so that means we get a case with a PSU included

CPU:
- AMD AMD64 2800+ 512KB S754 Newcastle Boxed (incl. Cooler)
Price: €130
Believe it or not but we actually managed to put an Athlon64 in our budget system !

Mobo:
- ASUS K8N NForce3 250Gb S754 AGP8X Snd5.1 GLAN SATA RAID
Price: €88
Asus is really very competitive with this nForce3 boards. Lots of features at a very low price. That's the way we like it :)

Memory:
- Kingston Valueram 512MB PC3200 DDR

Kingston is known for high quality memory and now that their line of affordable memory is also available over here this is the way to go. Decent speed, good reliability and lifetime warranty. What can a man ask more ?

Vidcard:
- ASUS A9550GE TD Radeon 9550 128DDR AGP8X TV-out DVI
Price: €76
DVI, TV-Out, 128-bit memory interface and DirectX 9 support. For this price one cannot expect a speedmonster but this card does have everything inside that a gamer needs for some basic gaming

Soundcard:
- On-board
Price: €0
Low budget means that we won't be spending money on stuff we already have on-board

Harddisk:
- Maxtor DM+9 80GB 7200RPM ATA133 FDB 8MB
Price: €67
Low Budget but fast and silent, that's the way we like it. The 80GB doesn't give a lot of room but should be sufficient for a budget system and the 8MB cache give this disk enough of a speed boost to make sure this isn't going to be your main bottleneck.

Optical Drive:
- ASUS DVD-E616 DVD 16X/48X IDE Black
Price: €30
A very cheap but still reliable and fast dvd reader from a company that's known for producing quality. You can't go wrong.

Total price: €531,00
Ok, I confess, we didn't really keep within the limits of our budget. But, you do get an Athlon64 with NForce3 motherboard for those 31 euro's extra and I for one would prefer the extra speed bump you get.
