Free goodies for Guild Wars

ArenaNet has announced a free mini-addon for its stunning online action rpg Guild Wars. 1UP has the scoop.

A heavy change will be the option to quest for other secondary professions once you reached the levelcap of 20. Once they are all unlocked you can use them all. A new area, new drops, new monsters, new quests and a new dungeon will also be released. Some difficult quests would even have rewards of up to 10.000 experience points at once. A spectator mode for Guild tournaments will allow that anyone can finally see those victories (or defeats) of your homecontinent in the Hall of Heroes. No date for the free addon has been made public it seems.

An official expansion is set for a release in the beginning of 2006. This will add new, completely optional chapters to the game. The levelcap will not be upped yet though.
