Free maps on the way for Gears of War 3
Free is good! Epic Games and Microsoft have announced they'll be releasing some new maps for Gears of War 3 later this month and they'll be free of charge:
The Versus Booster Map Pack will include five new multiplayer maps for public matchmaking. Microsoft did not detail the maps, other than to reveal their names: Swamp, Clocktower, Azura, Rustlung, and Blood Drive. Billed as a "thank you" to the series' fans, the Versus Booster Map Pack will hit the Xbox Live Marketplace on November 24, Thanksgiving Day.
