GTA IV displayed in Guinness book of World Records
GTA IV sold over 6 million copies worldwide in its first week. Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick had the following to say:
"Grand Theft Auto IV's first week performance represents the largest launch in the history of interactive entertainment, and we believe these retail sales levels surpass any movie or music launch to date."
The Guinness World Records commitee came to the conclusion that GTA broke the records of "Highest Grossing Video Game in 24 Hours" and "Highest Revenue Generated by an Entertainment Product in 24 Hours." And now we would like to get some non-GTA releated news. What do you people think?
