The self-proclaimed anti-games lawyer, Jack Thompson, pulls out of the GTA Copkiller-case. He had to appear before the judge to explain his conduct in the press regarding this case. The oposition filed a complaint that Thompson's behaviour wasn't fitting...
Thompson pulls out before the judge's ruling stating it is all for the good of the client:

"He (Thompson) can't proceed with the civility the rules require," said attorney Jim Smith, representing the video game industry defendants. "All lawyers have to conduct themselves with honesty, integrity and civility. This isn't a street fight. He's going to turn the courtroom into a circus and we can't have it."
