GTA on the Wii is just too weird
Dan Houser, one of the founders of Rockstar, today announced why there is still no version of GTA for the Wii.
According to Houser, the concept of GTA on the Wii just didn't feel natural enough. Odd enough, a version of GTA for the Nintendo DS is just around the corner (GTA: Chinatown Wars). The concept of GTA on the Wii feels weird, but playing GTA on the DS with the stylus apparently did not.
Houser did not say that there will never be a GTA for the Wii, but don't expect an announcement about that any time soon.

We haven't really done any concrete, major thinking about the Wii, one way or another. They're sort of separate issues.
