Games Charts : Golf Stands Strong
All Formats:
1. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 - EA 2. Club Football - Codemasters 3. Eye Toy: Play - Sony 4. Conflict: Desert Storm 2 - SCi 5. Soul Calibur 2 - Namco 6. Hulk - Universal 7. Formula One 2003 - Sony 8. Halo: Combat Evolved - Microsoft 9. Harry Potter: Chamber of Secrets - EA 10. FIFA 2003 - Platinum No major changes except for Codemasters' Club Football entering at number two and Halo coming in at 8. Personally I find it no surprise to see Club Football coming in high as there are several different ones to buy... kinda cheating, don't you think ?
PC:
1. HALO: Combat Evolved - Microsoft 2. Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Breakthrough - EA 3. Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour - EA 4. Championship Manager 4 - Eidos 5. Age of Mythology: The Titans - Microsoft 6. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy - LucasArts 7. The Sims: Superstar - EA 8. Medieval: Total War - Activision 9. Homeworld 2 - Sierra 10. Tiger Woods: PGA Tour 2004 - EA Halo comes in at first place as would be expected. The surprise comes from Medieval which does a re-entry at 8th spot and Tiger Woods who re-enters aswell. Championship Manager 4 continues to do well so my guess is Eidos has done a bad deal to drop the developer of this game...
PS2:
1. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 - EA 2. Eye Toy: Play - Sony 3. Hulk - Universal 4. Club Football - Codemasters 5. Formula One 2003 - Sony 6. Conflict: Desert Storm 2 - SCi 7. Rugby 2004 - EA 8. Soul Calibur 2 - Namco 9. Colin McRae 4 - Codemasters 10. Freedom Fighters - EA Tiger Woods storms to first place while Eye Toy jumps over The Hulk. Club Football enters at 4, dropping everything else down but the strange thing is that Rugby 2004 goes ack to 7, jumping over a top title like Soul Calibur 2.
XBox:
1. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 - EA 2. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - LucasArts 3. WWE Raw 2 - THQ 4. Club Football - Codemasters 5. Soul Calibur 2 - Namco 6. Conflict: Desert Storm 2 - SCi 7. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder - Ubi Soft 8. Colin McRae 4 - Codemasters 9. Freedom Fighters - EA 10. HALO - Microsoft KoToR jumps back to 2 while Club Football enters at 4th position. Nothing much for the rest is happening on XBox this week.
Gamecube:
1. Soul Calibur 2 - Namco 2. WWE Wrestlemania XIX - THQ 3. Super Mario Sunshine - Nintendo 4. Star Wars: Rogue Leader - LucasArts 5. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 - EA 6. Metroid Prime - Nintendo 7. Super Smash Bros.: Melee - Nintendo 8. James Bond 007: Nightfire - EA 9. Star Wars: Clone Wars - LucasArts 10. Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut - Sega Nintendo's price drop of the Gamecube has certainly had its effect. Super Mario Sunshine comes in at third out of nowhere and Metroid Prime re-enters from oblivion to a 6th spot. It's getting time that some really good titles will appear for the Gamecube to make this chart a bit interesting.
Well, another week has passed and nobody was able to beat the man hoding the golf stick. Tiger Woods remains untouchable, but for how long ? Let's find out in next week's episode of... The Games Charts !
