Games Charts: Hitman takes the crown

  • 8. World Championship Rugby - Acclaim

  • TOCA didn't stay ahead for very long but luckily for Codemasters the game gets some support from other Codie titles like England International Football 2004 and the still present LMA Manager 2004. EA's Fight Night 2004 also does a terrific job by entering at the second position.

    PC:
  • 1. Far Cry - Ubi Soft
  • 2. Hitman: Contract - Eidos
  • 3. TOCA Race Driver 2 - Codemasters
  • 4. Championship Manager Season 03/04 - Eidos
  • 5. The Sims - EA
  • 6. Battlefield: Vietnam - EA
  • 7. Unreal Tournament 2004 - Atari
  • 8. Counter-Strike: Condition Zero - Sierra
  • 9. Singles: Flirt up your life - Deep Silver
  • 10. Painkiller - Dreamcatcher
  • Little changes on the PC platform with Hitman: Contracts coming in at three while for the rest only TOCA does a good job by jumping over Championship Manager to third place.

    PS2:
  • 1. Hitman: Contracts - Eidos

  • The first two places are identical to the Overall charts while LMA Manager rises a couple of spots again and England International Football comes in at 8th place.

  • 2. Hitman: Contracts - Eidos
  • 3. Fight Night 2004 - EA
  • 4. Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow - Ubi Soft
  • 5. Manhunt - Rockstar
  • 6. England International Football 2004 - Codemasters
  • 7. World Championship Rugby - Acclaim
  • 8. Grand Theft Auto: Double Pack - Rockstar
  • 9. Project Gotham Racing - XBox Classics
  • 10. Unreal 2: The Awakening - Atari
  • Toca manages to keep off Hitman and Fight Night but all other titles have to bend over to these two newcomers on XBox.

    Gamecube:
  • 1. Sonic Heroes - Sega
  • 2. Super Mario Sunshine - Nintendo
  • 3. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles - Square Enyx
  • 4. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - Konami
  • 5. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle - Player's Choice
  • 6. Star Wars Rebel Strike - RS III - LucasArts
  • 7. Super Monkey Ball - Nintendo
  • 8. Pokemon Channel - Nintendo
  • 9. Viewtiful Joe - Capcom
  • 10. Super Smash Bros.: Melee - Nintendo
  • Pokemon Channel does a major drop to 8th place. For the rest we see some place shifting and the re-entry of Viewtiful Joe.
