Gamescom 2010 gets dated

We wouldn't mind some semi-nude babes at Gamescom

You can never be too soon to set a date, the people from Gamescom in Germany must have thought. The result is that their next event has been now announced to take place from August 18th to 22nd on the same spot as in 2009: The Koelnmesse in Cologne.

"Compared with the previous year we are noticing that the industry is approaching their plans for participation in gamescom 2010 much earlier and with more decisiveness after the successful initial event," said organiser Oliver P. Kuhrt.

Gamescom 2009 was clearly a hit. In total there were over 245.000 visitors and 4.500 journalists including ourselves. Hopefully we'll be there in 2010 and can expect some great games there.
