Gearbox on HALO PC patch
There's been a lot of commotion about the lack of support for Halo PC lately so Gearbox' Randy Pitchford has made a post on the Gearbox Halo forums to explain a couple of things like who is responsible for getting the patch released:
Unfortunately, beyond the information that a significant development commitment has been made by Gearbox and that lots of cool things have been created from that effort, it's impossible for me to make specific commitments about when you can actually expect the official updates to be released and exactly what each one will contain.
Approval, testing and release of updates to the Halo PC software is entirely under the control of Bungie / MGS.
I think it could be helpful to direct some of your anticipation of new features, fast shaders, HEK, new content, bug fixes and improvements that you are looking forward to in future updates to the folks at Bungie / MGS.
