One thing about computers: They are not as cheap as the consoles (i mean to get to the power of a xbox 360 you have to invest double in a computer) but some games are made and can be played only on computers and others are made and can be played only on consoles.
Both have their good sides and if you are a true gamer you should try/have both.

JEEZ, kids ,i have both platforms. A 360 with hd tv and pc with decent kit. nothing looks as good as gears of war. and to the tit who said it looks all jaggy like 800x600 on HD that is due to a reason (he aint set it up right or isnt using the VGA cable)

sorry just came to this place lol.. the console will never be a pc..it will never have the capabilities of one...at that time. poeple love there own thing..some like consoles others pc..im a pc person.i used to love consoles..BUT all you do is play games on them and dont go spouting off about xbox live wow you have voip now woopy doo... but with your xbox to get the most out of it and this applies to ps3 aswell you need to spend a few grand on a nice hdtv.where as a pc has a moniter that out puts a higher resolution all for mm 150 pound. oh and all those ppl who say yeah well keybord and mouse int no good for driving games and platforms sports so on.. we have flight sticks for flying games steering wheels for drving games and our own controlers for everything else. do i have to carry on?
