Based on the famous anime-movie and series, Atari will release the third-person action shooter Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex at the end of this month.

You will be able to choose out of 3 characters; Motoko, Bateau or the Tachikoma and as one of them you’ll be sent out to investigate arms dealers. As you may expect, this mission will soon confront you with bigger issues than just an ordinary arms dealer arrest

The game features a unique cybernetic environment where you will be able to hack into your enemies, control their minds from a distance and acquire information to help you complete your mission. You can also choose out of 15 different weapons including sniper-rifles and missile launchers.

Ghost in the Shell also adds multiplayer combat for up to 4 players to a single player story mode with almost 20 minutes of CGI-fmv. It has multiple difficulty levels and finishing the story mode will give you some nice bonus features.
