Go Underground for the second time

Posted on Saturday, 15 May 2004 by b|0-0|n, source: Fragland
Need for Speed: Underground 2 is of course the sequel to the successful first part. One could work his way to the top in the street racing circuit by winning all kinds of different events like drag races. A rather important part of the game was also the fact you had to tune your car into a beautiful power-monster.

EA Games got the message and has further enhanced the tuning part and made more options available to tweak the performance of the car. You'll also be able to change the visual aspects of your ride even more and you don't have to stick to the fixed circuit anymore.

The new website is online and we have some new screenshots showing off the tuning-interface. The game should be available by the end of the year.

Look at the rest of shots here.

Now lets hope they put in more European cars, don't really like all the Japanese tuning. Don't mind it either, but I of course would prefer European cars ;)

(Then again, I never liked The Fast 'n the Furious either, guess I prefer Audi RS6 kind of cars, subtle but powerful...)

Would indeed be nice to have some more options... also with cars you wouldn't think of tuning :)

Idd, I miss the exotic cars like ferrari's and porsches too, we already have the Gran Turismo series to race with ordinary cars but since EA based its decision on more commercial grounds (and they were succesful) and don't think were are going to see changes.
