Goldeneye 007: Reloaded unveiled, not made by Raven

Posted on Wednesday, 20 July 2011 by Speed, source: Eurogamer
Activision today sent out official word that Goldeneye 007: Reloaded is in the works and will be released on PS3 and Xbox360 this Fall.

Unlike a ton of speculation, the game isn't being developed by Raven Soft but by Eurocom Entertainment who were confirmed today by Activision producer James Steer as being "our Bond developer".
"No," Steer replied when asked if Raven is working on a James Bond game. "We're focusing on Eurocom. Eurocom is our Bond developer."
Goldeneye 007: Reloaded is actually an HD remake of the Goldeneye game that was released last year on the Wii and it seems millions of people were waiting for it to arrive on PS3 and X360. At least, according to Activision:
“We are beyond ecstatic to debut GoldenEye 007: Reloaded to the millions of fans who have been clamoring for it to arrive on Sony and Microsoft home consoles,” said David Oxford, Executive Vice President at Activision Publishing.
Yes, we're all extatic about a Wii port with upped graphics and Move/Kinect support.

The official word again:
Built on a brand new engine that delivers striking visuals, blistering fast gameplay and the ability to play using the PlayStation ® Move with Sharp Shooter peripheral, GoldenEye 007: Reloaded is the complete James Bond experience shooter-fans have been waiting for and will launch in stores later this fall.
Woohoo...

Still interested in what Raven Soft is actually doing? Well, Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling made that clear to Gamerzines today as well:
Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has attempted to clarify Raven Software's involvement with the Call of Duty franchise, telling GamerZines that the team has "supported Treyarch with DLC and helped out with random user interface and engineering tasks", while reiterating that they'll also be helping out with Modern Warfare 3 "in the same capacity".
So Raven seems to have officially been degraded from a top development studio to a bunch of DLC makers and "game tuners".
