Gran Turismo 5 to get car upgrades?
Posted on Wednesday, 15 December 2010 by Speed, source: AndriaSang
In a new interview with Famitsu, Polyphony's Kazunori Yamauchi has said that they're planning to upgrade several standard cars to premium models.
As you may well know, Gran Turismo 5 has a buttload of cars present, but many of those were actually ports from the previous version and as such were less detailed and didn't have a cockpit view. These are seen now as the "standard" models and they'll apparently be getting an upgrade to "premium" (meaning: more detail and cockpit view).
No mentioning of when that's supposed to happen unfortnately:

Gran Turismo 5 has a mix of gloriously detailed "premium" cars and less detailed "standard cars." In an interview with Famitsu this week, Polyphony prez Kazunori Yamauchi reveals that there are plans in place to upgrade the standard cars to premium status.
Another question: will we have to pay to get those "premium" versions? Wouldn't sound all too insane if Sony Entertainment would release them as payable DLC.In other news:
