Greenpeace does a frontal assault

Posted on Saturday, 15 December 2007 by L0k1-, source: Gemaga
A couple of days ago, Greenpeace accused the companies behind the three successful consoles of making toxic products with their own rapport. Sadly for them it was full of lies and they received a lot of criticism for spreading it in the American media.

Now it seems that they still want to promote their propaganda by making a complete website full of facts(lies). There is even a trailer where three console heroes see the 'green' light!

First they rate console makers horribly and now they’ve launched an ad and website to up the ante. Using awful recreations of Mario, Master Chief, and Kratos the ad shows giant garbage piles of consoles and gives a website where you can go to “learn” more. This report on the console makers was proven to be full of errors and done only to create a buzz for the organization and the latest ad and website seems to be nothing more than an extension of that.

As if Jack Thompson wasn't bad enough, we now gotta look out for a bunch of hippies! :)

Well don't forget, Greenpeace doesn't care about green "peace". They care about money. It's long been a for-profit organisation, just not labelled as such to avoid taxes. Of course they have vested interests. I wouldn't be surprised if someone like the Vatican was funding them :P

It kind of makes me wonder if making a video with those characters is not copy right / intellectual property infringement.
