Guitar Hero III world record

Guitar Hero has become a real hype, which is demonstrated by the dozens of YouTube movies that prove that there are in fact people in this world that can perfect songs on expert without breaking a sweat.

But getting your name in the Gamer's Edition of the Guinness Book of World Records is whole different matter. In New York, the best virtual guitar players gathered for a Guitar Hero event and a 16-year-old kid from Minnesota took the prize.

In that competition, he broke the record for "Highest Score for a Single Song on Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock" with a staggering 840.647 points (and 97% completion) with "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce on expert difficulty.
