Guitar Hero coming to Wii, also on DS?

While our fingertips are still hurting from all the Guitar Hero II action on PS2, Activision announced that the Guitar Hero franchise will also be expanded to the Nintendo Wii. An Xbox 360 version should be arriving any week now.

"[Activision] will aggressively target the Nintendo platforms consistent with our multi-platform strategy and Nintendo's expected growth. In fiscal 2008, we will double our offerings on the DS and the Wii, including Spider-Man, Shrek, Transformers, and Guitar Hero,"

This means we can expect a Wii version of the game before March 2008, but the statement also leaves room for a NDS port. We'll keep you posted!
