Halo 3 gets own X360 and accessories

The Xbox 360 will be getting a sh*t load of top games by the end of this year, but obviously there's this one title, one so called über-game, which has most x360-gamers eyes fixed on it: Halo 3. Because of this, Microsoft has planned a special edition of their console which will feature the game as the customized theme (and not just a dashboard theme!). Along with that special 360, they're also looking to create a bunch of accessories, equally customized to have the same look and feel as the SE Xbox 360. In other words, a bunch of cool Halo 3 goodies =D

Dubbed the Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console, the console will be colored Spartan green with golden trim and be accompanied by a matching wireless controller. Presumably a Premium Xbox 360, the console will include a 20GB hard drive, a headset, and a play and charge kit. An exclusive Halo 3 theme and gamer pics will be available to purchasers over Xbox Live. The package is slated for a worldwide release this September.

This Xbox 360 Halo 3 Special Edition Console looked quite nice when Peter Moore pulled it out of his sleeve (and nice as in drool drool, habba habba, ... and so on.) It has the typical Halo-green and the appropriate color accents (including golden tray) which makes it look like a must have for the fans!

The thingy will be available worldwide in September, just in time to play Halo 3 on it at the end of the month!

At this press-conference, another Halo franchise thingy was shown. We got to see some sort of mini-trailer of the movie which showed us what this film could look like when Neil Blomkamp would be working on it. Let's say, it looked really, really, reaaaaaaally nice. On the other hand, it does make the delay of a confirmation of this Halo movie even more painful! On the other hand, the new game-trailer was extremely satisfying so I would sincerely advise you to look at it as soon as it's downloadable.
