i thought halo3 was dissapointing,they ripped of games like hl2,the alien allie,farcry ripping of mounted guns,starship troopers in some scenes,the game is so similar to previous versions it just looks like a add-on,man if this is impressive to console owners,then they dont know what there missing on the pc..seems like old hat

i played it to the end and i must say its pretty dissapointing,it s exactly the same as 1 and 2 ,bungie are lazy bastards and microsoft just hype the hell out of it with the bottomless pockets,this sort of game and gameplay is a step backward mayb 5 yrs

Being one of the biggest halo fans on this site along with vexxed i usualy defend it with venom , but i have to say this is the most over rated over hyped game ever .

the story side of the game was ok , still nothing to rival the original

but its the multiplayer thats let it down the most its just halo 2.1 nothing has changed bar a few new wepons .

oh well team fortress 2 is out in 2 weeks and gotham 4 aweek before that .

Have to agree with ducksmuggler there somewhat, first impressions were'nt great and think that graphicaly no it is not stunning, its not GOW jaw dropping but it does have its moments and some awesome set pieces during the campaign, the lighting effects are stunning though.

It doesnt feel like a massive leap from Halo 2 and still seems like it has alot of the same issues that wound me up in 2 and i spend half the time playing multiplayer shouting at the screen cos im not getting the kill when i blatantly hit someone with a sniper in the head or i got 2 burst's of a BR on them and they kill me like i had no shield, the lag that is still strongly evident is unacceptable aswell, with the amount of money the Halo games have made there should be dedicated servers, i have been playing Warhawk on the PS3 loads since it went up for download and that is 32 players with zero lag and its FREE to play online.

As with everything thats hyped this much its been ruined a bit purely through the hype, i've seen and played through the entire campaign and its not mind blowing although the end scene after the credits is cool as f@#k, the multiplayer is great fun but so competitive and is mostly played by gobby little pricks who think they are the greatest players alive which takes away the fun quite abit.

Its alot less than what i was expecting but its here now so im going to enjoy it for a while but it wont be keeping me off other games like i thought it would, roll on PGR4 and Battlefield BC, to the first anon poster in this though if you dont know exactly what your on about then dont open your mouth, no one thinks that Halo 3 looks stunning, its gotten the hype its gotten because of the massive online following, WOW is allways getting praised as one of the greatest online games out there but thats graphicaly a load of shit, although im a graphics whore through and through its is not allways about the graphics, playability is paramount.

And to follow the trend you can check out my achievments if you doubt my opinion and think i havent played it, im not going to tell you my gamertag because if you cant guess it i'll be surprised if you've got the brains to use it :P
