Halo 3 map pack on Xbox Live

The Halo 3 Heroic Map Pack is available on Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft points (€9.30). The new multiplayer maps are Standoff, Rat's Nest and Foundry. There will also be an update with new playlists for the maps.

You will be able to download this map pack for free somwhere around the Spring of '08, for a number of reasons. One of them being that at that time a new (possibly not so free) map pack will be made available too.

People who can't wait until then will have to put some money on the counter. Others will find out that patience is a virtue.
