Halo 3 pre-ordered over 1 million times in US

According to an article in the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft has already sold about one million copies of the newest game in the Halo franchise , before its release on the 25th and 26th of September in the US and Europe.

The new game is widely expected to be one of the year's biggest sellers and an important part of its corporate parent's play for the living room. Halo 3 will only be available on one console: Microsoft's Xbox 360.

The hype is also being "enlarged" a bit by a respected daily paper. I wonder what the price tag would have been...

I have already pre-ordered my copy, will you follow the lead of myself and many others or are you going to wait until it's actually on those shelves?
