Not long ago the word got out that there might be a Halo movie. A couple of months have passed and things have gotten awfully quiet about it. To many it was a sign that this film was either cancelled or at best delayed.

Those speculations seem to have been dead on now that Neill Blomkamp announced in an interview that the project finds itself in a deep coma. Who’s to blame? It seems that both Fox and Universal want the upper hand in the development with the known result of nobody getting any action. A lot like the political situation in Belgium these days.

There is hope however that the Halo movie might see the light of day if they start all over again without quarrelling studios. Will be – hopefully – continued.
