The production around the Halo movie might be frozen for the moment, but that didn't stop Microsoft from given director Neill Blomkamp a limited budget for a couple of mini movies based on the franchise.

Neill Blomkamp developed 3 movies for Microsoft and you can watch all of them in the movie Landfall. In the first part called Arms Race you can see a company of Marines been equipped with all the weapons and vehicles of the game.

In the second part you can see a couple of ODST infantry retrieve a package while been attacked by Brutes and Banshees. As a final piece you have Part 3 which is a direct follow up of part 2. Under heavy fire they are trying to get the landing coordinates of the Master Chief so in other words these events take place right before Halo 3

Regarding special effects the movies are quite decent if you know that they are produced with a very limited budget. But enough talk, time for action!


It would be a beautiful movie with this director, let's hope the movie is still going to come out someday :)
