Halo: Reach earns 200 million on day 1
During the Tokyo Game Show Microsoft was proud to announce that Halo: Reach made them no less than $200 million at the end of the first day of sale.
According to them that's more than any other gmae, movie or piece of entertainment this year. We're already looking forward to Activision's statement when Call of Duty: Black Ops gets released!
Of course it's a bit awkward to compare the number with movie sales as cinema theatres can never reach enough people to get a similar revenue in one day, but nonetheless it means that about 3 million copies have been sold. Still impressive.
