Haze not in high definition
It seems to be a not so pretty trend these days. The developers of Haze have also confirmed that their game won't be in high definition. The used resolution is 576p (1024x576). The PS3 will upscale it to 720p but it's still a long way from the much loved 1080p.
Haze will be released this week on PS3 and asks for a obliged installation of 4gb.
"We prioritise a nice smooth frame-rate over a different [resolution]," Littlewood told Ripten.
"Personally, I don't really buy the whole thing. People did the same with Call of Duty, they did the same with Halo, and they say with those games 'It's not running at true HD!' And it's like, 'I don't care.' If the game looks good and it runs smoothly, those are the important things to me."
They don't see any harm in this but if you consider that PC games have had resolutions of 1280x720 for years, you could wonder where all the "true nextgen", "Bluray" and "every game in 1080p" promises went. The reactions on the recent demo aren't that enthousiastic and many gamers complain about fuzzy textures."Personally, I don't really buy the whole thing.
