Heavenly Sword sequel rumours

During an event organised by Andy Serkis, somebody of Ninja Theory was constantly talking about Heavenly Sword 1. Ninja Theory is together with Sony the developer of this actiongame for the PS3. What was interesting is that he hinted towards a sequel of the game, which is no surpirse considering the heavy advertising of the first one.

Earlier this year Tameem Antoniades, co-founder of Ninja Theory, told us in a podcast that the original idea for the game was to spread the story over three games and at the moment of the podcast, the story of the second Heavenly Sword was already written.

Those who were seduced by Nariko, the flaming red-haired babe, can already prepare for more bloody and cinematic confrontations.

Love the game. Sure, I blazed through it in about 10 hours, but I'm still going through my second time, unlocking all the unlockables. Next time through, I'll do it in Hell Mode.

What was you doing for 10 hours?, took me about 5 to play through it, great game but way to short and the camera could use some work.

Not to spoil it for all who havent played it but surely it will be a prequel as Nariko dies at the end but even then she wont have the sword since you get it a couple of levels in????????

Ninja Theory had confirmed they are not developing a sequel to this much under rated game. It's up to SCE to take the rein and give this new franchise a direction.
