Hillary Clinton fights against violent games
Posted on Tuesday, 29 March 2005 by Speed, source: Times Online
TimesOnline is reporting that Hillary Clinton, wife of the former US president, sees violence in games as a "major threat" to our moral health.
Can someone please tell her she's jumping on a bandwagon that passed along already a long time ago ? Oh, and while you're at it, maybe tell her to get her facts right and actually play a game before judging it...
“Children are playing a game that encourages them to have sex with prostitutes and then murder them,” the senator and former first lady said. “This is a silent epidemic of media desensitisation that teaches kids it’s okay to diss people because they are a woman, they’re a different colour or they’re from a different place.”
Clinton, who is expected to seek the Democrats’ presidential nomination in 2008, has teamed up with two archconservative Republican senators, Rick Santorum and Sam Brownback. They want President George W Bush and Congress to launch a $90m (£48m) investigation of the impact of electronic media on children’s “cognitive, social, emotional and physical development”.

They sure know what to do on their free time :P
Hillary, could you please pick up a game and actually play through it?
Then you´ll MAYBE see that, hey GAMES DO HAVE AGE LIMITATIONS :P (Thats if they are violent)
Oh, and for once, be nice to children, what else would we do? Pick up real weapons we see on Tv and start shooting people like they do? And then say "It was wrong to do that, we are sorry" sorry aint gonna bring anything or anyone back. So maybe you should spend those $90m on investigating how tv has the REAl impact on what we do ;)
I can go on and on of other trouble other then a simple game.
So please do us a favour, shut the hell up.
