One could almost start thinking today is the day of the revivals. An article on Bluesnews namely, indicates that perhaps Hitman 5 is in development after all.

At the base of all the fuzz is the Casting Call Pro page of actor Mark Sloan. On this page the actor mentions to have worked on motion capturing for Hitman 5. The page also mentions the new installment in the popular assassin franchise is being developped by Rocksteady Studios. Rocksteady are mainly known for the upcoming Batman Arkham Asylum.

As a fan of the series it certainly doesn't seem like a bad idea for the Hitman franchise to return. The Hitman name still carries a lot of weight, making a good game then is the only requirement to push sales. No details so far, we will have to wait for an official press release for that. Unless of course the game will be dieing a silent death in the meantime.
